Biggest questions for Sacramento Kings ahead of the trade deadline

Admittedly, this one isn’t as pressing of a need, especially if Yogi Ferrell continues to play well. The problem is: Sacramento can’t trust Yogi will bring his A-game every night. Enter: Jeremy Lin (or any other point guard).

This one really isn’t about a ‘who’, but rather addressing the position itself. The Sacramento Kings haven’t been linked to many point guards thus far, with Jeremy Lin being about the only one. Luckily for Sacramento, he wouldn’t cost much to acquire and some combination of expiring contracts + picks could likely get it done.

Expiring contract? Young player? Draft assets? Check, check and triple-check. There’s little reason for Atlanta to not pull the trigger if this was offered, but again — we don’t know how aggressive Vlade Divac and Co. will be in pursuing trade.
