The Sacramento Kings have not had much success during their road trip, but they do have the chance today to end it on a high note against the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Sacramento Kings will take the hardwood this afternoon to face off against the Los Angeles Clippers. Today’s contest will cap off a six-game road trip that the purple and white are currently on.

So far, the road trip has not been so great for the Kings as they have only won twice during the span. But they have the chance to still end it on a good note.

Prior to their road trip, my realistic expectation for the Kings was to win either three or four games. So if Sacramento is able to upset the Clippers today, it would turn out to be a successful trip, in my opinion.

Kings Need To Finish With A Bang

Even though the Kings have won two times during their road trip, they really have not played good basketball. In their win against the Pistons, they ended up winning off a miraculous three-pointer by Buddy Hield, and against the Grizzlies, they barely were able to hang on to the three-point victory.

In order for the Kings to come out of the Staples Center with a win, they need to have their best performance yet. Offensively, they must execute a lot better. They have to increase the pace of the game, take care of the basketball, and make their open shots. As for the defensive side of the ball, they have to be active and physical with the Clippers in order to make them uncomfortable when running their offense.

Throughout the season, the Clippers have been a tough team and have already beaten the Kings twice this season. But if the Kings can play with good energy and perform well on both ends of the floor, they can definitely get back to their winning ways.
