Finish Strong

Based on their record and play, the Kings have been a pretty competitive team this season. But in order for the purple and white to take that next level in their rebuild, they must collect wins from playoff-contending squads.

As mentioned before, the Kings did have the opportunity to close the game against the Blazers last time around, but they choked up the lead in the end. Obviously, it is ideal if the Kings were to blow out the Blazers tonight, but my gut feeling is that this is going to be another tight game. So when crunch time does come around, the Kings must rise to the occasion.

This is when I turn my head towards the Kings’ best players. Guys like De’Aaron Fox, Buddy Hield, and Bogdan Bogdanovic must be dialed in when their team needs them to make a play.

The Kings’ youth has shown they can be clutch in big moments, but as of late, they have been the opposite of that against better competition. It is time for that magic to come back for the Kings if tonight’s game goes down to the wire again.
