Sacramento Kings: How To Beat The Blazers This Time Around
By Rafe Wong
Get Hot Beyond The Arc
The last time the Kings and Blazers played each other, both struggled to make their perimeter shots. For the Kings, they only made 33% of their threes as a collective group while the Blazers made just 28% of their shots from the area. Both teams have been successful in shooting the long ball this season, so I expect both of them to have better shooting performances tonight.
For the Kings, they have to win this battle. For their offense to be lethal, making three-pointers efficiently is a must as their fast-paced offense allows them many opportunities to get high-percentage shots.
It would be ideal if everyone on Sacramento’s roster was hitting their threes tonight, but the main guys that need to excel in this aspect of the game are Buddy Hield, Bogdan Bogdanovic, and Nemanja Bjelica due to them being the team’s best perimeter scorers.
The last time the Kings played the Blazers, Hield was the only one hitting his threes. Tonight, the Kings need at least a few more of their guys to have the hot hand.
