Player #2: Bogdan Bogdanovic
The reserves for both teams have been great this season. For the Kings, their bench averages over 42 points a contest (seventh in the league) while the Clippers’ bench contributes over 51 points (first in the league) a night for their team.
With Marvin Bagley III out, the Kings have had to rely on their deeper players for solid minutes, and as a result, Sacramento’s bench has been inconsistent as of late. The reserves for the Kings need to have a good night if they want to stay competitive with the Clippers, and it has to start with Bogdan Bogdanovic.
Throughout this season, Bogdanovic has been the leader of the Kings’ bench due to his high level of skills, versatility, and on-court awareness. He needs to continue to be the anchor tonight as he needs to facilitate the offense well and play good defense against his matchups.
For the season, Bogdan is averaging around 15 points, four assists, and three rebounds a game. He will need to record similar numbers tonight if he wants to help his team win the game.
