Battle of the Rookies

The matchup between Marvin Bagley III and Jaren Jackson Jr. will be a fun individual battle to watch. So far, both rookies have been solid for their teams in the early stages of the season.

For Bagley, he is averaging 12 points, six rebounds, and one block per game while making around 50% of his shots from the floor and 44% of his shots from beyond the arc. He also has a Player Efficiency Rating (PER) of 15.64 which is above average.

For Jackson, he is having a good year too as he is averaging 12 points, five rebounds, and almost two blocks a game while shooting 46% from the court and having a PER of 16.90.

Expect these two players to be matched up against each other a lot in tonight’s contest. This battle may not be significant to deciding which team wins, but it will be exciting to see which player outplays the other.

Hopefully, for the Kings and their fans, Marvin Bagley is the one that comes out being the more dominant player. Which rookie will come out as the better one?
