Battle of Pace

Pace will be very important in this game. The Kings are currently the second-fastest team in the NBA with a pace factor of 108. When on offense, they run, run, and run some more which has played a huge factor for why their offense has been exciting and explosive so far.

On the other hand, the Memphis Grizzlies are not as fast as the Kings. In fact, they are the exact opposite. Through 13 games, the Grizzlies are currently the slowest team in the NBA as their pace factor is at a 98. They slow down the tempo of the game in order for their offense to execute to its peak.

Whichever team is able to control the pace tonight will have the advantage. For the case of Sacramento, they need to run every chance they get. Once the ball is in their possession, all five guys on the floor need to sprint to their basket for a possible chance for an easy score. If successful, it will tire out the Memphis defense which will give Sacramento then a high chance of winning the game.
