The Sacramento Kings have released the news that Ben McLemore’s brother, Kevin McLemore, passed away over the weekend.

It is with a heavy heart that we at A Royal Pain send our condolences to Ben McLemore and his entire family and friends on the tragic loss of Ben’s little brother, Kevin McLemore. Kevin at the time was attending William Jessup College in Rocklin, California to be closer to his brother Ben after graduating from Normandy High School in the year 2013, according to KSDK 5.

The Kings Stand Behind Their Players

The Kings stand behind the players that represent their organization. When one of their family members suffer a loss, they all stand together to offer them support. With sadness and sorry, they always support their players. Not too long ago, the Kings released an official statement reporting the sad news and supporting their five-year shooting guard.

The Fans Stand Behind Their Players Too

Not only have the Kings been supporting Ben during this time, but the fanbase of the team as well. Through social media, the Kings community offered their condolences and support towards Ben.

Final Thoughts

Although he has not been a star player for the Kings, Ben McLemore definitely has a place in some of the hearts of Kings fans. Through his four-plus seasons with the Sacramento franchise, Ben has been nothing short of a consummate professional while working his butt off in order to earn his place in the NBA.
