Game Recap
During the first half of the game, the main theme was offense. Both the Kings and Nuggets were rolling on that end of the court as both teams were able to make 50% or more of their shots from the floor.
Unfortunately, for the Kings, the Nuggets were more efficient in scoring the ball. Guys like Nikola Jokic and Gary Harris led the way for them as their team collectively scored 33 points in the first period and 35 in the second. For the Kings, they had Justin Jackson and Nemanja Bjelica lead the way for them offensively, and as a result, the purple and white scored 26 points in the first quarter and 29 in the second.
Once the second half started, it was downhill for the Kings. Although they were able to score 26 points in the third quarter, they allowed their opponent to put up 37 points in the period. This had the Kings trailing 105-81 going into the fourth. In the final period, the Kings pretty much went deep into their bench for the remainder of the game. Once the clock hit triple zeros, the Kings officially lost their third game of the young season.
