The Sacramento Kings finished their regular season opener last night, and here are my main takeaways from the contest.

Sacramento Kings basketball is here again, people! Last night, the purple and white took the court in the Golden 1 Center once again as they began their campaign against the Utah Jazz.

For many in the public, it seemed close to a shoo-in that Utah was going to be victorious in this game. While the Kings are projected to finish in the basement of the Western Conference, the Jazz are a team on the rise that is predicted to make a deep playoff run this year. The Kings tried their best, however, to shock the world.

The Kings displayed excellent basketball during the game as they were hot at the beginning of the first and third quarters of the match. But during the rest of the time, they pretty much performed like the team fans expected them to be. As a result, the Kings fell short by a score of 123-117.

It is safe to say that the Kings made last night’s game a surprising and entertaining one for their fans to see. Especially since Utah gave Sacramento a beatdown last week during preseason play.

Yes, the Kings performed decently during their first show of the 2018-2019 campaign, but what were the main notes to take away from the opener?
