The fanbase of the Sacramento Kings has endured a lot in the past decade. But with that said, they have stayed committed to the purple and white.
The Sacramento Kings have not been a good team for a very long time. The organization has not competed in the postseason for the past 12 seasons which is now the longest playoff drought in the NBA.
When a sports franchise goes through a ton of losing, it usually leads most of their fans to lose interest in that team. But that does not happen with the fans of the Kings. Nope, not this community.
Even though the Kings are projected yet again to be in the basement of the NBA standings, their fans remain loyal to them. Home games will continue to be flooded with fans cheering for their team in the hopes of a victory. I mean, even a Kings fan paid for the meal of rookie Harry Giles, a player who has not even appeared in a regular season game yet. Who does that!?
To no surprise, the fans of the Sacramento Kings are a great group that any sports franchise would love to have. Hopefully, the Kings as a team can one day be as great as their fanbase. It will take some time considering the roster is filled with a ton of young talent, but if everything goes right, they can give their fans something to be legitimately proud of.
As long as the Kings show maximum effort and compete in every game, the Kings community will have their backs every time.
