The NBA regular season starts in just a couple of weeks, meaning the Sacramento Kings will be back on the hardwood soon in front of their amazing fans. This also means that the Kings community will finally get to see their prized rookie Marvin Bagley III play against legit NBA competition.
During this summer, Bagley has done what he can to prepare for his rookie season. Not only has he trained relentlessly in the gym, but he has also received valuable lessons and knowledge from NBA players like James Harden.
Bagley Faces The Truth
Not too long ago, Bagley received help from another player who has had great success in the NBA. That guy would be Paul Pierce who achieved many individual and team accolades throughout his 19-year career. Thanks to James Ham, NBC Sports Bay Area’s Insider for the Kings, people in the Twitter world can get a little taste of what Bagley learned from Pierce recently.
According to Pierce, he sees some Chris Bosh and Kevin Garnett in Marvin’s game. The Kings and their fans are hoping that their rookie will produce the same way as those guys.
