Sacramento Kings: Marvin Bagley III and the MVP Balling Out
By Rafe Wong
In a recent video posted in the social media world, it shows Sacramento Kings’ rookie Marvin Bagley III training for the offseason with some elite company helping him out.
The summer grind does not stop for the players of the Sacramento Kings as throughout the offseason they have been working out in the gym in the hopes of getting better.
A player that has been a part of this trend is Marvin Bagley III who the Kings recently drafted with the second overall pick in the NBA Draft.
Now that Bagley is part of the NBA fraternity, he has recently been working out with other players in the league. One of these players being James Harden who recently was named the MVP for the 2017-2018 season.
Bagley and Harden Cooking Together
In a recent video posted by the Home Team Hoops’ Twitter account, it shows Bagley and Harden being on the same team for a game of pickup basketball. In the video clip, Bagley and Harden are dominating on all cylinders as they are scoring left and right against their opponents. Ben McLemore, Bagley’s fellow teammate, was also there as well!
Final Thoughts
It is nice to see Bagley on the hardwood getting ready for his rookie season. It is also awesome to see him playing with an elite player like Harden who can teach him a little bit on how to be successful in the league.
For Bagley, the Kings and their fans are hoping he can be one of the main pieces to the team’s rebuild as he holds star-caliber potential. Hopefully, he is able to take some valuable lessons from his recent workout with an MVP.
