Positional Need

Right now the Kings are thin at the small forward position as they have Iman Shumpert and Justin Jackson as their only options. Although I consider Hood more of a two-guard than a wing player, he definitely can play small forward due to his size.

If the Kings were to add Hood to the mix, it would definitely give Dave Joerger more flexibility with his lineups as he would have a guy who can shoot the ball and play multiple positions.

Not only would Hood fill a positional need, but he could possibly fill the 3-and-D void the Kings have had for a while due to his scoring ability and defensive potential.
