Final thoughts
The Sacramento Kings are facing a challenging game against the Memphis Grizzlies on July 10. The marquee matchup tonight is Harry Giles taking on 2018 fourth overall pick Jaren Jackson Jr. Jackson Jr. has played well in summer league, and Giles is finally rounding into form. Giles has shown he can be a crucial piece in the Kings rebuild if he can stay healthy and continue improving. Jackson Jr. is a fantastic rim protector and can shoot threes, so Giles will have his hands full.
Frank Mason is another player to watch against Memphis. The Grizzlies drafted a hard-nosed wing defender named Jevon Carter, and Mason needs to step up. The Kings may look elsewhere for a backup point guard if Mason’s play does not improve. Keep a keen eye on his performance this evening.
