The Sacramento Kings’ offensive woes led to their downfall tonight against the Golden State Warriors.

After putting on a show last night against the Los Angeles Lakers, the Sacramento Kings were flat tonight against the Golden State Warriors as they lost by a score of 71-54.

Overall, the Kings were sluggish throughout the entire game. The purple and white struggled out the gate as they had trouble running their offense without the services of De’Aaron Fox. Their offensive woes continued all the way until halftime despite Justin Jackson going off for 16 points.

In the second half, the Kings’ defense kept them within distance of making a comeback, but in the end, their offense was just not efficient enough for them to be competitive in the game.

The best players for Sacramento tonight were Frank Mason III and Justin Jackson. For Mason, he recorded 16 points, four rebounds, and five assists. For Jackson, he led the Kings in scoring as he recorded 20 points.

For the duo of Harry Giles and Marvin Bagley III, they were unable to produce offensively as they combined for 11 points on 5/25 shooting from the floor.

Final Thoughts

Overall, not a great night for the Sacramento Kings’ summer team. Although their defense was solid due to allowing their opponents to score just 71 points, their offense was just horrid as they finished the match with 54 points on 19/69 shooting.

Hopefully, for the Kings and their fans, their offense will find their groove in the California Summer Classic’s finale when they face off against the Miami Heat on Thursday.
