NBA rumors are one of the best parts of the offseason. Woj Bombs always bring some water cooler chatter at the office or begin a friendly debate. The Sacramento Kings have a rumor swirling about who will be their draft choice on Thursday evening.
Bagley III the frontrunner
Woj himself wrote an article for ESPN about Luka Doncic being the favorite for the Hawks at pick three. In that piece, he shares that executives from around the NBA think Marvin Bagley III is the pick for the Kings at number two. That was big news especially coming out of an article not even related to Sacramento.
Then, Sports Illustrated‘s Jake Fischer sent out the following Tweet.
Clearly, Bagley III thinks he will end up in Sacramento. You would think if anyone had inside information on the selection MB3 himself would be high on that list.
What does it mean?
Unfortunately, it all means nothing. Smoke screens appear all over this time of year. The Kings are considering Bagley III at pick two, but they are also looking at Doncic and Michael Porter Jr. Fans will not know who the selection is going to be until June 21. The suspense is killing everyone.
