The news recently came out that Luka Doncic will be a participant in this Thursday’s NBA Draft.

Whether Luka Doncic was going to appear at the NBA Draft this Thursday was a mystery prior to today. But due to Real Madrid winning the ACB Championship, it is official that the Euroleague star will be attending the draft.

In the championship-clinching game, Doncic contributed eight points, eight rebounds, and two assists in the 29 minutes he was on the hardwood. For Luka, this will be the second championship he has won in the last month due to him and his team becoming Euroleague champs last May.

According to Jonathan Givony, NBA Draft Analyst for ESPN, Doncic will be a participant of the draft as well as his mother, grandmother, and his mother’s boyfriend.

Final Thoughts

Right now, Luka Doncic is considered one of the realistic options the Sacramento Kings could draft this Thursday. His ability to score, share the ball, and make smart plays has made him a popular player in the Euroleague and a potential star in the making once he reaches the NBA.

It is unknown whether the Kings will select Doncic with the second pick as Vlade Divac and company have kept their thoughts quiet from the public. But it is nice to know that Doncic will be attending an event that will change his life. Make sure to wear some purple, Luka. Just in case 😉.
