Although the offseason is a time for NBA players to recover and relax, players on the Sacramento Kings are in the gym and embracing the grind of getting better.
With the offseason in full throttle for Vlade Divac and company, the players on the Sacramento Kings are also busy this summer as well.
Thanks to Ramsey Nijem, performance and strength coach for the Kings, he has been training a few of the Kings players at the team’s facility. Nijem has also taken video clips of the players working out too which he has posted on his Twitter account for the public to see.
To see some of these clips posted by Nijem, scroll down below. In the video clips, it shows both the young guys and veterans for Sacramento in the gym and getting their bodies right.
Videos of the Kings Training
Day 6 of #30days30drills: @FrankMason0 dominating Crossover Rotational Throws. You’ll notice front leg stiffness creates the whip that allows for his intent to be delivered through the ball! pic.twitter.com/nZpNYlPx3D

Day 7 of #30days30drills: Trap Bar Deadlifts. Nothing fancy here - effort, intent, and load!!! My man @HGizzle1 clocked in on this. We hungry and we working! pic.twitter.com/3GHRGZiu1f

Day 7 of #30days30drills: @JJacks_44 performing the hang power clean. My man JJ has unparalleled consistency and its awesome to be part of his journey. Some people run from the work, we run towards it! pic.twitter.com/yPjnF6Q2GM

Day 10 of #30days30drills: @KarrSampson14 going through our seated box jumps. This is another transitional movement I like to use late stage strength blocks as we progress towards more speed / explosive emphasis. The seated position requires more strength given no countermovement pic.twitter.com/o3hU71rq5M

Day 16 of #30days30drills: my man @GTemp17 dominating the Half Kneeling Accel Throw. When it comes to our throw variations, intent is critical to achieve the desired stimulus and thus adaptation. GT always brings! pic.twitter.com/XlnqU5GXft

Final Thoughts
It is no surprise that some of the Kings players are training this offseason, but it is still nice to see them at work in the hopes of getting better.
It is an exciting time to be a Sacramento Kings fan. Right now, they have a roster filled with young talent that has high potential as well as veterans who are motivated to guide the way for the youngsters to success.
Not only that, but this Thursday, the Kings have a high chance of landing another elite young player to their roster.
Get excited about this summer, Kings fans. Lots to be excited about and hopefully, Vlade and Vivek can turn the purple and white in the right direction!
