The Sacramento Kings will once again head to Las Vegas for their annual Summer League in July, and their first three games are on the schedule.

The Sacramento Kings are in full draft mode at this moment, but plenty of offseason events are just around the corner.  The draft takes place on June 21.  Then, free agency kicks off on July 1 which is immediately followed by the Sacramento hosted California Classic from July 2 through July 5.  After that, the Kings head to Las Vegas for their summer league tournament.

Las Vegas Summer League

The summer league in Vegas is the big show.  All 30 teams are attending this year and it is a special place.  Fans can mingle with NBA front office executives and media members at the games.  It is a who’s who in the NBA all in one place.

Kings’ first 3 games

The opening three Sacramento Kings games got released on June 12.  The Kings open up play at the Thomas & Mack Center against the Phoenix Suns on July 7.  That is projected to be a battle of the two picks in the draft unless something changes.  After that, Sacramento has a back-to-back as they face the LA Clippers on July 8.  The Kings also play on July 10 against the Memphis Grizzlies.

All three games are scheduled to be on national television.  It will be a fantastic first look at some critical players for the Kings next season.  Harry Giles is expecting to play alongside their 2018 draft choices.

Final thoughts

The Sacramento Kings now know who they are facing in their first three games at the Las Vegas Summer League.  It is a packed offseason for the team, but fans would not want it to be any different.  Stay tuned for all the Kings’ summer league content.
