Sacramento Kings’ guard Buddy Hield is handling business during his offseason. Scroll down below to see how Buddy has been spending his time off.

With the regular season over for the Sacramento Kings, it leaves their players with a ton of free time to do whatever they please.

For some players on the Kings, they have already been embracing the offseason grind as a couple of guys have posted videos of themselves in the gym and training. One of those guys has been Buddy Hield as not too long ago a video clip of him in the gym went public for the world to see. Video credit goes to @TreySlate24.

Listed down below is the video of Hield training. In the clip, it looks like Buddy Buckets is working primarily on his ball-handling skills while getting shots up. Big surprise, all of his shots went it.

Final Thoughts

This past season, Buddy Hield impressed Kings fans as he made a leap of improvement as a player. For the year, he averaged 13.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per contest while making 44.6% of his shots from the floor, 43.1% from the three-point line, and 87.7% from the free-throw stripe.

I think if there is one part of Buddy’s game that Kings fans wish he can improve on, it is his ball-handling skills. Hield has shown to be a good spot-up shooter, but his dribbling has prevented him from creating his own shot and being efficient slashing to the basket. So seeing him work on his ball-handling skills is a great sign for Kings fans to see.

Overall, Hield has the chance to be a core piece of the Kings’ rebuild, but he needs to keep improving as a player. If he is able to be a more polished dribbler next season, it will help him become a dynamic scorer which will help Sacramento’s offense immensely.

Good luck this offseason, Buddy! And hopefully, you keep continuing to make strides in your game.
