2018 NBA Draft order before lottery: Sacramento Kings pick seventh

The 2018 NBA Draft is just over a month away, but the lottery takes place on May 15.  Today, we take a look at the draft order before the lottery.

The 2018 NBA Draft figures to be another evening of intrigue and excitement.  The Sacramento Kings will be looking to add to their young core.

Tuesday, May 15 is an important day for 14 NBA teams.  The draft lottery takes place which will lock in the draft order (barring any trades) for the June 21 draft.  With that in mind, let us take a look at the pre-lottery draft order.

Final thoughts

There you have it, the pre-lottery 2018 NBA Draft order.  The top three selections are chosen in the lottery.  Also, any non-playoff team is eligible to move up.  It could shake things up wildly or not at all, so stay tuned to see the final order after tonight’s proceedings.

The Sacramento Kings currently select seventh and 36 overall.  Expect the Kings to be active on draft night in hopes of filling out their roster with more young talent.
