Check out how the social media world reacted when the news came out that Jerry Reynolds would no longer be the color analyst for the Sacramento Kings.
Goodbye, Jerry 🙁
The Sacramento Kings lost a legend when their 2017-2018 campaign concluded. Not too long ago, it was announced that Jerry Reynolds, Kings’ color analyst, will no longer commentate Kings games alongside Grant Napear, Kings’ play-by-play announcer.
For many Kings fans, this is bittersweet news. Although it is great that Reynolds will now get to relax and enjoy the rest of his life, there is no replacing his basketball knowledge, charm, and wit that was showcased constantly on the Kings’ television broadcast.
Because of the great impact that Reynolds has made throughout the Kings and basketball community, many people took their reactions and thoughts on the Reynolds news via social media.
With that being said, listed down below are some posts that the A Royal Pain squad was able to gather up pertaining to the recent news on the great Jerry Reynolds.

In a sports media world where so many scoff at "bloggers," Jerry only cared about the merit of your ideas, regardless of who or where they came from
God bless you Jerry pic.twitter.com/b0AE78B1Uq
I remember when I worked Media Day and Jerry Reynolds actually walked up to say hello.

Wow. A true gentleman if you ask me. Made me feel welcome from the first Kings’ game I covered. He never treated me differently than the guys AND whenever I’ve seen him since leaving Sacramento, always greeted me with a smile and a kind word! https://t.co/OwFFFOoAsK

Final Thoughts
Jerry Reynolds will definitely be missed. It did not matter whether the Kings were a champion-caliber team or a squad that lived in the basement of the NBA standings. The broadcasting pair of Reynolds and Napear no doubt did their job in entertaining Kings fans every game. And for that, Reynolds is truly a treasure in the Kings community.
Congratulations on a terrific career with the Kings, Jerry. The duo of Fire and Ice will never be forgotten!
