Final Thoughts
Tonight will be the last time the Kings take the hardwood in the 2017-2018 season. Although their record was poor at 26-55, there were strides made by the team in their pursuit back to relevancy based on how their young talent performed.
There will be people in the Kings community who will like to see their team lose tonight, due to where Sacramento will be placed in the draft lottery, but I am in the camp of the team trying to win as many games as possible. If they are able to defeat a top-tier team like the Rockets tonight, it will give them more momentum going into the offseason.
Plus, tonight will be the last time Kings legend, Jerry Reynolds, will commentate a game for the Kings. A win would be a nice way for him to leave what has been an amazing career. Thank you, Jerry!
