DeAndre Ayton

The saying “man amongst boys” is fitting for Ayton. The 7’1, 250-pound freshman has dominated this college basketball season due to his great combination of size and skillset. As a result, he averaged 20.3 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks for his campaign.

When analyzing Ayton’s game, he is dynamic on the offensive end. When he is not dunking on his opponents or giving them lessons with his post-up skills, he has a reliable mid-range jumper which gives him lots of options when trying to score. Defensively, his athleticism and length have helped him become a solid rebounder and rim-protector for Arizona.

Overall, Ayton showed this season that he can be a two-way player and no doubt a legit star prospect. If the Kings do indeed select Ayton in the draft, expectations would certainly raise up due to the star power he would bring to California’s capital.
