See how the Sacramento Kings community reacted when their team rocked their City Edition uniforms for the first time.
Last Friday night was a night to remember for the Sacramento Kings and their fans. Not only were the Kings able to get their first win in Miami since 2001, but the game concluded in dramatic fashion as rookie De’Aaron Fox sealed the win for his team off an emphatic dunk in the final seconds of play.
Yes, the performance by Sacramento and their young guys was something to remember, but there was also another factor in the game that was memorable as well.
When the Kings hit the hardwood in the American Airlines Arena, they were not wearing their usually purple and white colors. Instead, last Friday night was the first time Sacramento rocked their City Edition uniforms which the colors were powder blue and red.
As a result of the Kings rocking their new look, many people within the Kings community took their reactions and opinions via social media.
With that being said, listed down below are some tweets that the A Royal Pain team was able to gather up pertaining to the Kings’ new City Edition look.
Reactions
Gotta admit, the Kings jerseys look a lot better in game. They only suck when the camera is zoomed in on anyone.

1. You don’t debut these jerseys on the road. You debut them at home with the court specifically made for them.
2. You don’t debut them against the BEST JERSEYS IN THE DAMN LEAGUE https://t.co/eDcxhCRcyY
Still better than the gold candybar wrapper jerseys..

Final Thoughts
Overall, there were mixed reactions on the Kings’ newest uniform. In my opinion, I am a fan of the new look. I like how the team brought back a powder blue colored uniform and was able to add aspects of both the team’s history and current look to the design.
And to be honest, I am pretty sick of seeing the team wear their alternate “SAC” jerseys. They wear that uniform almost every game, so seeing them wear their City Edition uniforms was a nice change of pace.
