The news has come out that Bogdan Bogdanovic and Buddy Hield have the opportunity to represent the Sacramento Kings during All-Star weekend as they have been chosen to participate in the Rising Stars Challenge.
Although no one on the Sacramento Kings was chosen to play in the NBA All-Star Game, there could be a couple of players repping Sacramento who can participate in the weekend festivities.
According to Jason Ham, a reporter for NBC Sports Bay Area, Bogdan Bogdanovic and Buddy Hield have been selected to take part in the NBA Rising Stars Challenge. Basically, the All-Star game consisting of both rookies and sophomores in the NBA. The pair will be playing for the World Team which plays against the U.S. Team.

My Thoughts
In my opinion, it is not surprising to see both players get the nod for the Rising Stars game as the pair has made positive impacts towards the Kings this season. But in different ways.
For Bogdanovic, he has been a smart player on the court who brings a little bit of everything to the table. For Hield, he has been a spark for the Kings’ offense due to his dynamic shooting, especially from beyond the arc.
Final Thoughts
Overall, both players deserve to represent Sacramento during All-Star weekend and both should be proud of the accomplishment. With the Kings in the beginning stages of a major rebuild, it is nice to see that at least more than one of their players is able to participate in a game which contains the best young talent in the NBA.
Congrats on the achievement, Bogdan and Buddy! Make the Sacramento Kings community proud again!
