The Sacramento Kings faced off against the Indiana Pacers tonight for their seventh game of the season. Scroll down below to see how the purple and white fared in tonight’s contest.

The Sacramento Kings were defeated by the Indiana Pacers tonight by a score of 101-83. With this loss, the Kings now drop to a season record of 1-6 which has them tied as the second-worst team in the NBA.

The main reason for tonight’s loss was due to the lack of offense the Kings showcased. From the very start, Sacramento was absolutely halted from scoring the ball, and as a result, Indiana was able to grab a comfortable lead early which lasted throughout the entire game.

For the night, the Kings shot 42% from the field, 14.3% from the three-point line, and 50% from the charity stripe. Abysmal numbers.

Stand Out Performances?

With the Kings’ offense horrid as a collective whole, there were a few players from the roster who stood out. These were players were De’Aaron Fox who recorded 18 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, and just one turnover, Zach Randolph who scored 12 points and grabbed 5 rebounds, and Skal Labissiere who finished the game with 8 points and 8 rebounds.

Another noteworthy performance came from Frank Mason as he scored 6 points on 2/4 shooting in just five minutes of play.

Final Thoughts

Overall, the Kings found themselves again falling behind early in the game which might play a part in the recent blowout defeats they have suffered in the last week. It will not take long until Sacramento has the chance to redeem themselves as they will travel right away to Massachusetts to play against the Boston Celtics tomorrow night.
