Converse recently released a collection of kicks theming each team in the NBA, including the Sacramento Kings. Scroll down below to check out how the Kings’ design looks.

Not too long ago, Converse released a collection of their iconic Chuck Taylor model, consisting of 30 different designs, representing each team in the NBA. With that being said, this collection contains a layout depicting one of the Sacramento Kings’ uniforms this season!

The Shoes

Listed down below is a picture of the shoes courtesy of the Kings’ Twitter account. As one can see, the kicks represent the team’s road uniforms where the base color of the sneaker is purple and the number font and shoelaces are white. There also is a touch of gray around the sneaker but mainly on the tongue of the shoe.

It is difficult to make clear of what number is shown on the design of the right shoe, but in my opinion, it looks like the number eight. Bogdan Bogdanovic’s number!

My Thoughts

The shoes look pretty nice, and if you are a die-hard Kings fans, this shoe would be a nice cop to wear or add to a Kings memorabilia collection. But with that being said, there is a hefty price for this unique piece of footwear as it is listed for $250.

Also, according to Sneaker News, their article states there are only 250 pairs available to sell for each design, so if one were to want to buy these sneakers, they might want to do it quickly.

Overall, the design looks solid, but in my opinion, they are not worth buying mainly because of its price. If the price were to be around the same cost as a normal Chuck Taylor, then that would be a fair value.

Unless one is a hardcore Kings fan, it would be a nice purchase because of the exclusivity of the product, but not much more.
