The Sacramento Kings have added a new court design going into their 2017-2018 season. Scroll down below to check out how it looks!

Since the Sacramento Kings made the Golden 1 Center their new home, they have experienced a ton of fresh starts. From new uniforms to a completely different roster in years past, the Kings now have added a new alternate court design going into their 2017-2018 campaign.

The New Looks

Listed down below is the new hardwood design provided by the team’s Twitter account. As one can see, the Kings used the color black as the primary color for the design while making their secondary logo its centerpiece.

Because the court is an alternate design for the Kings, it’s unknown how often the team will play on it throughout the season. In my opinion, the only times the Kings will play on the court is when they rock their alternate black uniforms at home.

There are more details about the court shown on the Kings’ website.

Final Thoughts

The new court design looks pretty sick in my opinion. Because there is zero purple (Kings’ primary color) shown in the design but instead a lot of black and gray (Kings’ secondary colors), the hardwood just gives a different type of vibe compared to the Kings’ previous courts in the past. It’s always nice to change things up a little bit from time to time.

With all the changes happening around the Kings’ organization the past few years, it’s an exciting time to be a fan of the team. Hopefully, the next aspect that changes for the franchise is their losing culture.
