Player Report Cards of the Sacramento Kings’ Summer League Team
By Rafe Wong
Buddy Hield (written by @rafnation):
Buddy Hield was one of the top scorers for the Kings during summer league as he averaged over 16 points a contest. With that being said, however, Hield wasn’t very efficient when scoring the ball.
In the three games Buddy participated in, he only shot a success rate of 35.6% from the floor and 35% from the three-point line. A mix of bad shot selection and solo play led to Buddy’s struggles in Las Vegas. He didn’t have a bad summer league in terms of the numbers, but he did underachieve considering that he was one of the more productive scorers on the Kings during their previous regular season.
