Earlier this month, the Sacramento Kings and Bogdan Bogdanovic agreed on a contract which will have the Serbian basketball star playing for the Kings this upcoming NBA season.
One thing for sure is Bogdan’s contract is a three-year agreement, but other than that, it is still iffy about the actual value of the deal.
It was first reported the deal was valued at $36 million over a three year period. But later reports came out the deal was more around $27 million over a three year period.
Even with all the speculated reports on the signing, there was never an official announcement on what the actual value Bogdan was receiving. Until now.

According to Spotrac, Bogdanovic’s contract is valued at $27 million over a three-year span. Although Bogdanovic’s deal earns him an average annual salary of $9 million, his yearly salary is different by the year. Also, Bogdan has a qualifying offer north of $10 million if the Kings decide to keep him on the team for a potential fourth season.

Final Thoughts
Although Bogdan’s salary may be a little less than what was first reported, it is still a hefty contract considering the two-guard will be considered an NBA rookie this upcoming season. In fact, the Bogdanovic signing is the highest valued deal for a rookie in NBA history.
Hopefully, Bogdan is able to live up to his contract. If he is able to play the way he did overseas this last year, I think the Kings and their fans will be thrilled if that happened.
