Harry Giles, recent Sacramento Kings’ first-round draft pick, has been putting in time at the gym as of late, and he showcased his work for the public to see on his social media account.

The NBA summer league may be over, but it has not stopped Sacramento Kings’ forward Harry Giles from continuing to improve as a basketball player.

Recently, Giles posted a video on his Instagram account where he is working out at a basketball court with others. The type training he was doing was mainly due to improving his basketball skills. Some of these skills were handling the basketball, shooting, and moving on the court.

Final Thoughts

It is unknown when Giles recorded this video, but it is assumed that it happened recently because he posted the video on his account not too long ago.

It is good to see Giles getting in the gym and putting in the work. Prior to his knee injuries, Giles was considered a dominant high school basketball prospect, the top player in his class to be specific.

But because Giles has suffered knee injuries, his athleticism has decreased and his game has been limited since. An example of would be his freshman season at the University of Duke. Giles only played limited time as a Blue Devil (averaged 11.6 minutes per game) as he averaged only 3.9 points and 3.8 rebounds per game.

Hopefully, for the Kings and their fans, Giles’ health issues are behind him now. At least based on the video he posted,  the future looks bright for newly drafted King.
