De’Aaron Fox was great in his first ever contest as a Sacramento King. Throughout the contest, he displayed flashy offensive production (both scorer and distributing) while forcing multiple turnovers on defense. He definitely lived up to his nickname “Swipa”.
What made this game so great to watch was that it gave the Kings and their fans confidence about De’Aaron. No player is a sure thing once they are drafted, and even though Fox isn’t playing against legit NBA competition, his summer league debut showed that there is a good possibility he will be a fun player to watch for many years to come.
