Power Forward:

This position is one I’m not sure on. Currently, the Kings possess Skal Labissiere and rookie Harry Giles as the two players at this position. Skal should be the starter so he can develop and hone his skills further, but I wouldn’t be shocked to see one signing. I say this because of Harry Giles. Take a look at this article written by colleague Jonathan Roberts. I completely agree with his analysis on Giles. Don’t expect much out of him this season. Perhaps, don’t expect anything. He’s going to be no more than a reserve as he has dealt with past serious knee injuries.

Expectations? I say expect one. I’m not sold on Giles’ health 100% yet, so I say the Kings sign someone that does not start over Skal. I could be wrong and the Kings end up giving a max contract to someone unworthy, but who knows.
