21) Oklahoma City Thunder- Tyler Lydon, Forward, Syracuse, Sophomore

Stats per game 2016-17: 36.1 MIN/13.2 PTS/55 eFG%/39.2 3PT%/8.6 REB/2.1 AST/1.4 BLK/1.0 STL

Measurements from 2017 NBA Draft Combine: 6’9 ½” height with shoes/215 lbs. /7’0” wingspan/8’11 ½” standing reach

A Royal Pain Prospect Profile: Tyler Lydon

This selection is simple: Oklahoma City needs to surround Russell Westbrook with as many shooters as possible. They have enough athletic wings that struggle to make jump shots and should draft the best shooter on the board. Lydon may not defend like Andre Roberson or Jerami Grant, but he is an intelligent offensive player that is a sharpshooter from deep. He makes the right passes and would space the floor for Westbrook.

22) Brooklyn Nets (from Washington)- Bam Adebayo, Center, Kentucky, Freshman

Stats per game 2016-17:30.1 MIN/13.0 PTS/60 eFG%/8.0 REB/0.8 AST/1.5 BLK/0.7 STL

Measurements from 2017 NBA Draft Combine: 6’9 ¾” height with shoes/243 lbs. /7’2 ¾” wingspan/8’0” standing reach

A Royal Pain Prospect Profile: Bam Adebayo

Adebayo isn’t the most skilled big in the draft, but his energy and rebounding ability will always have a place in the NBA. He can defend multiple positions if he cleans up his technique and has the hops to become a viable rim protector. He will likely score his points on put backs or lobs until he shows a consistent mid-range game. Brooklyn is in a major rebuild and could provide him the proper developmental minutes.
