A Royal Pain Prospect Profile: Harry Giles

The Denver Nuggets are one team that can afford the risk of Harry Giles. The Duke big man has a history of troubling knee injuries, but when healthy, he’s a top-three player in this draft. Giles is a freak athlete that finishes at the rim, handles the ball well in transition, and showed some promise knocking down jump shots. His range hasn’t extended to the three-point line yet, though. Giles’ defensive potential is what the Nuggets should take into consideration. Their roster is guard-heavy around point center Nikola Jokic, so adding a versatile defender like Giles is paramount. Giles altered shots at the rim and showed the ability to stick with guards on the perimeter. He presents great value at 13 and is a steal if he can stay on the court.
