The consensus pick for this award was Darren Collison. For the season, Collison was a huge contributor on the offensive end as he averaged 13.2 points and 4.6 assists per game. Overall, Collison’s ability to score points and get others involved in the offense on a consistent basis was huge for the Kings this season, and it definitely made him no doubt the most valuable player on the Kings this season. Other candidates for this honor were Willie Cauley-Stein and Buddy Hield.
