Rookie of the Year

For this honor, two players stood out, Buddy Hield and Skal Labissiere. For the case for Labissiere, he was effective on both ends of the floor. Not only was Skal consistent in making shots from the paint and mid-range areas, but he also contributed defensively with his rebounding ability.

For the case for Hield, Buddy made a huge impact for the Kings on the offensive end. In the 25 games he sported the purple and white, Hield averaged 15.1 points while shooting 48% from the floor. Despite not playing many games for the Kings this season, some ARP memebrs thought Buddy’s offensive contribution was big enough to have him as a serious candidate for the best rookie on the Kings this season.
