Teammate of the Year

For this honor, there was a mutual agreement that both Garrett Temple and Anthony Tolliver would be the top candidates for this award. However, there were differences between one of the two for the best teammate.

The argument for Tolliver is that he was a huge reason for the galvanization of the Kings after the team traded DeMarcus Cousins last February. Tolliver also played a role in helping the young bigs like Willie Cauley-Stein, Skal Labissiere, and Georgios Papagiannis improve their basketball skills. The argument made for Temple was that he also helped bring the Kings together during tough times as well while being a solid contributor for the Kings on both ends of the floor.
