Lonzo Ball would be gutted to not land on his hometown Lakers, but heading to the 76ers is best for both player and team. Philly needs shooting, and no player in this draft has the range Ball possesses in his funky motion. Ben Simmons is projected to be their primary ball handler, so surrounding him with as much shooting as possible will open the floor for him while his jump shot develops. Toss in Ball’s otherworldly vision and basketball IQ, and the core of Ball, Simmons, Dario Saric, and Joel Embiid means the Process is coming full-circle.
