12) Detroit Pistons- Zach Collins, Forward/Center, Gonzaga, Freshman
Stats per game 2016-17: 17.2 MIN/10.0 PTS/67.6 eFG%/47.6 3PT%/5.9 REB/.4 AST/1.8 BLK/0.5 STL

The Pistons are at a crossroads with their roster. They are shopping Andre Drummond and Reggie Jackson, and have choices to make with players becoming free agents. I think Stan Van Gundy starts building a spread offense around Gonzaga’s versatile big man, Zach Collins.
Collins came off the bench for the Zags but was efficient and effective in his limited minutes. He can score in the post and has a jumper that translates in pick-and-pop situations. His foul rate is alarmingly high, but Collins has a good feel defensively and blocked shots at a high clip in college. This pick gives Detroit a player in the middle to start what could be an offseason of turnover in Detroit.
