Closing Thoughts

There you have it, my Mock Draft 2.0 with the draft order set.  The draft is always a time for excitement and hope.  Every team gets a shiny new toy or two and some hope that this is the answer to their problems.  It is important to remember that even top ten selections have a very high bust rate and the ones who succeed it often takes time, so be patient with these players.

The draft always kicks off a fury of activity in the NBA.  The draft ends, and free agency begins creating another chance for teams to improve their rosters and give their fans hope.  Then, summer league gives us a glimpse into what these young guys can do on the court.  Following that is the one little downtime in the NBA calendar where things are quiet until training camps kick off.  Enjoy the ride and here is to hoping the Sacramento Kings turn their fortunes around this offseason and take multiple steps back toward playoff contention.

Big thanks to Draft Express.  Those guys do fantastic work, and their insight appears throughout this piece.  Their site features excellent videos and reports on every player so if you interested in a particular player head over there and check them out.
