30. Utah Jazz (via Golden State Warriors)- Ivan Rabb- PF/C- California

The Utah Jazz closes out the first round with their second of two selections at pick 30 overall.  Utah will be searching for frontcourt depth and a player they can groom into a key rotation cog.  The Jazz have been very successful with their recent draft and development, so I will be interested in what player they snap up here.

Why Ivan Rabb?

Ivan Rabb could be a late first round steal.  He just finished his sophomore year at Cal and talk of him coming out after his freshman year had him as mid-first round selection.  Admittedly, Rabb did not have a spectacular season, but he is another stretch four who could create matchup problems for defenses.

I think the Jazz could develop him into another nice rotation piece to play alongside Rudy Gobert.  Rabb shows flashes of potential and Utah could cultivate him into a factor in the league.
