17. Milwaukee Bucks- Ike Anigbogu- C- UCLA

The Milwaukee Bucks have been searching for their answer at center for multiple seasons.  They paid big money for free agent Greg Monroe, and things have not worked out as either party hoped.  Milwaukee paid a developing John Henson, but he never became the player the team thought he would.  Last February, the Bucks traded for Spencer Hawes and Roy Hibbert in hopes of filling their center minutes.  Thon Maker can play some small ball center in the right situations but needs more time to develop.  Expect Milwaukee to take another crack at a center in this draft.

Why Ike Anigbogu?

Ike Anigbogu is still 18 years old and dripping with potential.  He is a very raw player, but plays with great energy and shows flashes that have NBA teams interested.

He is the type of player Milwaukee loves.  A tall, long-armed, and athletic player who is very young and very raw.  Anigbogu will be the next in the list of this prototype of players drafted by the Bucks.  He will develop under a Milwaukee organization that has been successful molding similar players.  Both parties should be happy with this selection.
