16. Chicago Bulls- Harry Giles- PF/C- Duke

The Chicago Bulls are another team facing a plethora of roster decisions in the coming weeks.  Free agents include Nikola Mirotic, Anthony Morrow, Michael Carter-Williams, Joffrey Lauvergne, and Cristiano Felicio.  That is a lot of decisions and potential turnover for a roster.

The Bulls still have Jimmy Butler, and all signs point to Dwyane Wade opting in for next season giving Chicago a solid one-two punch.  Throw in Rajon Rondo to man the point and Robin Lopez to protect the rim and the Bulls starting five is taking shape.  Chicago should go for the highest upside player left on the board and shoot for the moon.

Why Harry Giles?

Harry Giles’ A Royal Prospect Profile

The 19-year-old barely played for Duke last season and had been hampered by injuries in recent seasons, but was seen by many as the number one recruit coming out of high school in 2016.  Sure the injuries are a concern, but to be coming off a playoff appearance and have potentially the best player in the draft class sitting on the board it is hard to pass up that opportunity.

Giles instantly profiles as a solid NBA rebounder and defender with offensive potential.  The injuries have hampered his development in recent seasons, but this young man is a freaky athlete and could be a difference maker for the Chicago Bulls.
