Point Guard: Isaiah Thomas (aka The Pizza Guy)

Isaiah Thomas was picked with the final choice in the 2011 NBA Draft which had him playing in Sacramento for three seasons. His scoring average increased each year and peaked in his final season with Sacramento as he averaged 20.3 points per game.

In 2014, IT was traded to the Phoenix Suns for Alex Oriakhi, a big man who has never appeared in an NBA game. Thomas was a sixth man of the year contender with the Suns before being dealt again, this time to the Boston Celtics for Marcus Thornton and a first-round pick in the 2016 NBA Draft (per ESPN).

Now, Isaiah is a two-time All-Star and is now appearing in this year’s Eastern Conference Finals. Thomas has become a fan favorite in Boston while being the most clutch scorer in the NBA as he is leading the league in fourth-quarter scoring (698 points) and is ranked third overall in points averaged per contest (per NBA Stats). Watching him develop into one of the best players in the game must be difficult for Kings fans, especially with the small return they got for him.
