What if the Sacramento Kings could construct a team of former players that they have selected in the draft in the past few years?

The Kings have had success assessing talent in the draft (excluding two-guards) since 2009, but have zero playoff appearances and currently zero All-Stars on their roster.

They have watched one of their draft picks, Isaiah Thomas, flourish on the other side of the country playing in three consecutive postseasons and making back-to-back All-Star teams. And we know about the trade this season that shipped the franchise’s lone star, DeMarcus Cousins, which left Sacramento fans scratching their heads as they watch their best players perform increasingly better elsewhere.

I have decided to put together a starting lineup of players that the Kings have lost in a transaction via trade or waiving. I will provide a short summary of the player’s career mostly focusing on their time with the Kings and give my overall assessment of the team at the end.
