Rudy Gay, starting forward for the Sacramento Kings, recently made an appearance on NBA TV to give his insight on the NBA playoffs.

Sacramento Kings fans are used to seeing Rudy Gay do work for their beloved team, but on Thursday night, he was behind the desk for NBA TV with Jared Greenberg, Dennis Scott, and Derek Fisher to talk about the NBA.

Listed down below is the video of his appearance.

Throughout the televised discussion, the quartet talked in the aftermath of the Game 2 matchup between the Golden State Warriors and Utah Jazz, where the Warriors won by a score of 115-104.

In the clip, Gay gives his insight of the game as well as mentioning the difficulty of facing a team like Golden State who has multiple weapons like Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Kevin Durant, and Draymond Green that play so well in sync together.

Once the discussion concluded, Gay took to Instagram to give his thanks to NBA TV for having him on the show.

It’s unclear why Rudy made an appearance on NBA TV in the first place. Just my guestimation: he might be looking to have a career in sports media once his NBA days are over.

Whether that’s the case or not, he still has a long time to make a decision as I expect him to play plenty of more seasons in the NBA going forth.
