What to Watch for Tonight

Young Players Doing Work

I have been impressed by the composure and collective spirit of the Kings during this two-game winning streak.  Uncertainty and turmoil surround the Kings, but they have come together and played well.  It will be interesting to see what monkey wrench the management throws them next.

When I heard the Kings were only suiting up eight players on Tuesday, I thought you well there is no way the Kings win this game and yet, they did.  This young group has the talent and drive and with a few more pieces could be a dangerous squad in a few years.

Expect another curveball tonight from management, but probably a Kings victory as the Lakers will try to give it away tonight.

Resting, Resting, Read All About It

The Sacramento Kings took the resting to a whole other level on Tuesday.  I thought they might come up to my chair and ask me if I could play a few minutes at the point in the second half.  I expect a similar story tonight.

Kosta Koufos will be out tonight.  As we have discussed, he looks to be virtually shut down after being rested in four straight games.

I look for Garrett Temple, Arron Afflalo, Anthony Tolliver, and Ty Lawson to all join Koufos on the bench tonight.  Why not?  They do not need wins and this strategy allows every player that suits up big minutes and touches, so let it roll Kings.
